Chaps:

The Tack Room features helmets that are smart in design, color, fashion--and guaranteed to stay on and protect your head in the event of a fall or should you encounter a low-hanging branch! Helmets are a mandatory piece of horse-riding gear. Don’t leave home without one!
Bridles:
Our bridles represent the finest in craftsmanship. A bridle is so important for your horse’s mannerisms and mood. A poorly constructed bridle, or a bridle that does not fit correctly, can ensure your horse will be unhappy and uncooperative. Example: A noseband must permit at least two fingers in the slack – anything less than two fingers will be too tight. Another tip: A properly fitted cheek piece will permit one wrinkle in each corner of the horse's jaws.
Saddle Fitting:
Fit is vital. According to veterinarian Dr. Joyce C. Harman: The present design of saddles has been primarily for the comfort of the rider; riders want close contact with the horse, but in trying to achieve that, some manufacturers have removed most of the support the horse needs in the panels. We put the horse first. His comfort is paramount. The Tack Room knows about saddle fitting, and you can trust us with your horse’s comfort. At The Tack Room, we will happily let you take our saddles for a trial ride, to ensure you have chosen the right one for your beloved animal.

Connie Woodruff, proud owner, opened The Tack Room in 1992 and has since concentrated on understanding the equipment needs for all equestrians. Serving Laramie, Cheyenne, Ft. Collins, and northern Colorado, Connie has been saddle fitting for more than 17 years. She has participated in seminars for saddle fitting, receiving certificates of approval from Peter Menet of Amerigo Saddles, Kerry Edwards, an award winning bridle maker and Master Saddler from England, and works closely with many master saddlers from various European countries.
Connie has also participated in Biting seminars given by Manuel Trigo and John Dewsbury Connie brings more than 30 years' experience to understanding and learning from the best instructors in the dressage and jumping world--including Janet Brown-Foy, Jane Bartle-Wilson, Paul Belasik, Peter Borggreve, Frances Carbonnell, Manuel Trigo, Jean-Francois Favier, Sally O’Connor, Tom Ordway, Sherry Ackerman, Sue Malone, & Cathy Dusser.
